My journey as a graphic designer ultimately started in high school when I joined publications. At first, I didn’t think I was going to enjoy it too much, but I really ended up liking it. It was different from what others were doing, it felt unique to be part of “the year book” and it was something I could hold a say, “I helped create this”. Fast forward to college, I got back into it, I found my groove and it’s been something that I’ve always enjoyed. I find unique designs from everything I’m part of. I think I also really enjoyed it too because I did lots of photography/photoshoots at the beginning of college so they go hand in hand. I’ve dived into it much more in the past couple of years at work being the Graphic Design/Custom lead and creating designs for people all around the world. It's been an opportunity to expand my creations, get better at my craft and bring exciting, fun, new designs to customers.

Stress Free

This thesis explores how graphic design influences user experience and stress reduction in the 'Stress Free' app. By analyzing visual communication principles, this study aims to optimize the app's interface to promote relaxation and well-being effectively.

Stress Free is a transformative app and journal combination designed to alleviate stress and promote holistic well-being among college students and individuals of all ages. Seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technology with evidence-based stress management techniques, this innovative platform offers a multifaceted approach to stress reduction. Users can access a diverse range of features, including guided mindfulness exercises, relaxation techniques, mood tracking, and personalized stress-relief strategies tailored to their unique needs and preferences. Through its intuitive interface and user-friendly design, Stress Free empowers users to cultivate mindfulness, build resilience, and enhance their overall mental health. The app's journaling feature allows individuals to reflect on their thoughts and emotions, identify stress triggers, and track their progress towards greater tranquility over time. Moreover, community support features enable users to connect with peers, share experiences, and access additional resources for stress management and self-care. Whether navigating academic pressures, personal challenges, or everyday stressors, Stress Free provides a comprehensive toolkit for individuals to reclaim control over their well-being and thrive in all aspects of life.
