Morgan Wendell

My design journey started with a “No.” I asked my parents to draw something for me for the millionth time, and they would draw whatever I wanted when I was younger. But, this time, they were too tired to do so, telling me to give it a try myself. So, I took to the chalk and soon got upset that I was not as good as them. But, I kept at it, slowly improving and finding joy in the process of making art. I learned the basics and improved on aspects I once hated. I used to hate dealing with color, but now it is one of my favorite things to do. So, when I was in high school trying to decide what I wanted to do with myself, I knew I needed something creative. Graphic design was that something. A few years after that choice, I am in my final year of graphic design.

Last Meal

Creating a gateway game back into the hobby, that is easy to understand and keeps the player’s attention with replayability.

Set in a world where hot meals are rare, and the corruption threatens the remaining food supplies. Last Meal has you and your friends taking on the roles of four different chefs, battling it out to create the best meal for three hungry judges. All to win a seat at the Great Feast. With an ever-changing game, limited resources, and surprises, Last Meal is a strategic but fast-paced resource management game. The game's main objective is to place desired food items into your pot in various patterns to rack up those points. Points only count when they are cooked up by the fire, a limited resource. On top of that, you must avoid the corruption, other chef’s interference, and random events. Making each play-through not quite the same and allowing various strategies to thrive. So what are you planning to cook up?
